Montreal’s Best Outdoor Wedding Venues

If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue in (or near) Montreal that feels close to nature, I’ve put together a shortlist of favorites that I have photographed over the years. These venues always deliver in views, ambience, service and a plan B for weather.

Le Belvedere
Located in the heart of Old Montreal, guests soak in the city’s remarkable skyline while witnessing vows or sipping on champagne. Couples can take advantage of its modern industrial bones and coordinate their wedding to suit their wedding & reception vision.

Forest & Stream Club
This old stone manor sits right on the edge of the St.Lawrence river, with sprawling green lawns that make it perfect for tented weddings in the back of it. This venue offers old world personality and feels almost as though it’s by the sea.

Dominion Entrepots
Located in the heart of St-Henri, there is a cool vibrant energy to this space that acts as a great canvas for any creative couple. With its courtyard for ceremonies, rooftop views of the oratory and proximity to the Lachine canal, you get the best of both worlds.

Manoir Davis
Quickly becoming one of my all-time favorite wedding venues! Manoir Davis is located an hour outside Montreal with scenic views of the Laurentian mountains. An old stone manoir, with a variety of outdoor and indoor space to enjoy. So much charm.

Abbaye Oka
The Abbaye Oka hosts many different options for ceremony and reception, and opens up into gorgeous green spaces that couples and wedding guests can take enjoy throughout the day. I love taking photographs in spaces that celebrate craftmanship that designed for light at all times of the day.

Manoir Maplewood
Another beautiful estate from the Belvoir Group (I have mentioned Manoir Davis and I am excited to see where they go with their latest addition
Manoir Rouville-Campbell). This charming estate has lots of little passageways, beautifully decorated rooms and is surrounded by tall stately trees ideal for cozy ceremonies and cocktail hours. A perfect venue for more intimate weddings with a smaller guest count.

Auberge Willow Inn
A quaint cozy inn located in Hudson, Qc. Like all the locations I have featured, this venue has a flexibility to host various aspects of your wedding day in different parts of its grounds. The inn has a nostalgic quiet luxurious feel, with stunning views of Montreal on its waterfront. The food and service complement the cozy vibes too.

Manoir Hovey
One of the best hotels in Quebec, hands down. This lakeside historical hotel has plenty of luxurious options to celebrate your wedding in. During the pandemic, I photographed a ceremony in one of their beautiful suites located on the property, nestled in the woods. Weddings here feel elevated, elegant, and absolutely cozy in the most refined way.

Le Verger du Flanc Nord
The Eastern Townships south of Montreal boast an array of vineyards and orchards - this orchard flies a little under the radar, but I loved how well kept it’s grounds were and how the modern interior of the barn-like reception space made it an excellent space for couples to make their own. Beautiful views, too.

Le Peaches & Cream
Admittedly, this falls outside my self-imposed one hour radius outside of Montreal. However, this venue is worth your attention. When choosing a venue, never underestimate the importance of who owns & runs the space. And at Peaches, these owners are top of the tops. They CARE. There is so much land at Peaches and every time I have gone back, I get to explore new exciting aspects of the space they are passionate about.
